Production Staff
The 2023 Illinois Shakespeare Festival will proudly employ over 50 production staff. Production staff are typically contracted either for the build period from late-May until mid-July or for the full season from late-May until mid-August. Applicants may wish to reference our 2023 Production Calendar.
Housing is available to production staff at a discounted cost.
The Festival plays to audiences of over 10,000 every summer and operates under an Actors' Equity Association U/RTA contract. Illinois State University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

- Costume Shop – 3 positions
- Craft shop – 2 positions
- Lighting/Electrics – 4 positions
- Production Management – 2 positions
- Props – 1 position
- Scenic Artist – 1 position
- Scene Shop/Carpentry – 2 positions
- Sound Shop – 2 positions
- Stage Management – 3 positions
