The Center for the Performing Arts also has armless chairs available in certain locations. Please contact the Box Office at (309) 438-2535 to purchase armless seating.
Service dogs that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability and/or medical/mental health condition may accompany patrons at our venues. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA or this policy. Please refer to the Illinois State University's website for more detailed guidelines about service animals on campus. Please contact the Box Office at (309) 438-2535 for assistance.
Assisted listening devices are available on request at both Ewing Theatre and the Center for the Performing Arts Theatre. Quantities are limited and devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning one hour before each performance. If you need an assisted listening device, please ask an Usher or the House Manager for one as you arrive.
Sign Language Interpreters are available for events at Illinois State University. If you require the services of a sign language interpreter, please contact the Box Office at (309) 438-2535 to arrange interpreted performances at least 6 weeks in advance of the event.
